This document will give you a guide to accessing and shopping from the vendor catalogs.
First and foremost, the vendor whose catalog you would like to access must already have the catalog integration setup with On.Care. Assuming the vendor you would like to use does, you must also ensure you have rights to access the vendor catalogs. If you are unsure of if you have access, or you do not have access, please reach out to your purchasing director for further assistance.
Once you have confirmed you have the ability to access vendor catalogs, you can begin with an fresh or existing order.
If you would like to start a fresh order from the vendor catalog, you can being by navigating to the order dropdown and choose the “shop from vendor catalog” option.
You will then be prompted to choose the facility and category for which this order will be placed under.
If you are already in an existing order, please press the icon highlighted above from the tool bar on the right side of the screen.
Regardless of how you access the catalogs, your next screen will be as shown above. This catalog screen will allow you to search for an item specifically, or search by department. Please choose one of these options to continue.
In the actual catalog, you will have quite a few options. Each section can be broken down.
On the left of the screen, you can choose how you would like to filter, whether by category, or by vendor or both!
The center section of the screen is where you will see the items available. each item can be added directly to your cart from here, or can be clicked into for further information regarding this product. If you would like to see the real time price for an item, please click “click to load price” button and it will produce an accurate price based on account number.
The right side of the screen is where you can find your cart. This will contain all items that you are currently set to order, you can adjust items and quantities here.
Once you have selected all items you would like to order, go ahead and click “checkout” to be returned to your usual order screen.
From here, you will be able to process this order as you would regularly, modifications in quantity can still be made here. Once the order is ready to send, go ahead and hit “send” for it to enter the approval process.
