Order Screen Updates:
We have added the ability to choose the amount of items that are shown per page within the edit order page. This includes multiple increments and will save based on your user preference. This page sort will be on the bottom of the page, depending on what view is currently being used to group the items.
We have reintroduced the first iteration of editing the order screen to better suit your needs! Included in this version is the ability the chance the order of the columns itself as well as resize the columns. You have a reset table settings button, which will revert the table to the default settings.
The next iteration of this customization will be using column toggles to add/hide columns based on user preference. (see each column shown below).
The PO confirmation page is now available on demand as a button within the bottom left section of the edit order screen. This button will popup the same PO confirmation screen that users would previously see when approving at the final step. The popup replaces the previous iteration of the PO tab in older versions of the software.
We have added a new column that is toggleable. This Column can be toggled through the “i” button on the line item details by clicking on the thumbtack next to “Per Unit Cost”. Toggling this option will show or hide the Per Unit Cost column within the body of the order.
We will be using this to allow for further customization of the order screen as a whole. Columns in the order table will be toggleable leveraging the same option.
Alternate category Switching, if an item is given alternate categories (previously released), users will have an option to choose alternate categories assigned to a product within the order. This change will update all GL codes available (if using the new GL functionality), as well as the budget for customers using both the category based budgets and GL based budgets. It will also update any reporting and metrics based on the category of an item.
We have added the ability for a user to override the category of an item within an order. This is separate from Alternate categories and will allow for any category to be selected.
We have implemented a new right to allow for users to access this new feature.
Once the right is enabled, users can select items in the cart and choose to update the category for one or multiple items at one time. For active items in the customers internal catalog, this change will be a temporary change within the context of the order. The changes will only affect the order in which the change is made.
For custom items, the updates are permanent. When utilizing punchout or vendor catalogs, this feature will allow you to categorize custom items permanently. Once an item has been updated, whenever you punchout or use the vendor catalog to add a new item to an order, it will inherit the existing category selection, making sure that the proper budget and GL codes are applied.
In order to replace the need of the “Budget tab” that existed in previous versions of the platform, we have implemented budget levels to the budget gauge within the order.
The budget gauge will now show all nested/child budgets updating in real time.
*Please note, you will only see child budgets that have a budget set at that level.
We have updated the product history graph within an order to be more detailed and include specific data metrics that are critical to leveraging the chart to its furthest extent.
Search Orders
We have implemented the same table customization options within the search order screen. Users can adjust the order of all columns, as well as resize all columns.
User Management
We have made some improvements to the User Management screens.
First, we have implemented sorting on all column headers within the management screen.
Second, we have provided an option to bulk update, Job Title, Secondary Job title, and Role.
We have also added tool tips to easily access the facility access of a user as well as Department and Category access of a specific user.
Product Management
We have added two attributes to the product/price records.
First is Kosher, when editing a price, you can now set a kosher level on the product itself. Items with this attribute will show with an icon within the order that they are kosher (and specific symbols based on levels)
In addition, we have added the effective date on edit price. The effective date when used, will activate that price as of the effective date listed. This can be used for new items, price changes, temporary blocks etc.
