Creating and Managing Budget GL Groups

GL Codes are a way for your organization to track spend within the On.Care system. These codes can be used in tandem with the Budget GL Groups function to allocate GL Codes to specific budget groups. This guide will demonstrate how to create and manage a Budget GL Group. 

 

Navigate to Management -> Budget GL Groups 

 

  1. Click Create New Group; or, if you want to edit a group, select the AP Platform and click the edit button next to the GL group you wish to edit.

      

  2. Enter GL Group Name 

  3. Select appropriate AP Platform  

  4. Select one or more Available GL codes and move them to Selected with arrows 

Note: Each GL Code can only belong to one Budget GL Group. If you don’t see the GL Code you need in the Available column, this is most likely because it is assigned to another Budget GL Group. 

5. Click Save
